A Favorite Poem

Since it is National Poetry Month, I thought I would share one of my favorite poems: "If I can stop one heart from breaking" by Emily Dickinson.  This has become more than just a poem to me over the years.  It's kind of a life motto.

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
